About

Born out of a love for delicious food and a passion for gardening, we began selling jams, jellies and preserves at local farmers markets across Essex County in 2013. Growing many of the ingredients in our own backyard and purchasing many more from local area growers, we're committed to using the freshest ingredients and supporting local businesses. With a loyal following of customers, and an ever-growing product list, we are now offering online orders and delivery to your doorstep.

"To be honest, we didn't think many people would want to buy jam but wow, were we wrong! Over the years, we've grown new varieties of fruits and berries in our backyard, experimented with new ingredients and products, partnered with local area businesses such as Anchor Coffee House, The Cheese Bar and Chance Coffee, joined more and more festivals and markets, and to be honest, we're just thrilled by how many people seem to truly love what we make. I think the fact that we work really hard to make sure everything we produce tastes exceptional is what has people coming back again and again. "

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do you have a store I can visit?

Not currently, just online. Anchor Coffee House and The Cheese Bar carry a selection of Zone 6 Preserves jams and jellies in their stores.

Where are you located?

We grow many of the fruits and vegetables that go into our products on our LaSalle, Ontario property. Currently offering delivery to residents of Windsor-Essex County.

Do you grow everything that goes into your products?

We grow most of the fruits, vegetables and berries in our own garden but due to increased demand, we get help from local farmers for some of the items we preserve, and there are times we rely on local grocers for extras and fruits that are not grown in our area.

At Zone 6, we grow the following:

Berries - strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, mulberries, haskap, blackberries, Saskatoon berries, black currants, red currants, gooseberries, elderberries, goji berries, and chokeberries.

Fruit -  pears, peaches, apples, quince, plums, and figs.

Nuts -  walnuts and hazelnuts.

Vegetables - zucchini, tomatoes, cucumbers, variety of hot and sweet peppers, yellow and green beans, garlic, onions, and rhubarb.
