Fresh, whole Bing cherries are packed in a lite syrup with brandy.
These cherries are delicious enough to eat right out of the jar. Mix with ice cream or yogurt, use in a smoothie or a mixed drink.
To create a rich dessert, pour contents into a sauce pan (don't waste any of the brandy syrup), stir a little corn starch (or flour) in a bowl with a little bit of water and add to the saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil and you'll have a rich, smooth cherry sauce to pour over a cheesecake, pound cake, or to use as pie or tart filling. Yum!
