A quick, easy, healthy lunch or dinner. We mix red and green split peas, rice, barley, onions, and beef soup base to make this delicious soup.
Just empty the contents of the jar into a bowl and use the empty jar to fill a pot with 12 cups (6 jars full) of water, let it come to a boil, add contents of the jar, stir, and let simmer for approximately 45 minutes. This soup takes the longest to cook out of our 3 soups because of the split peas, but it's so worth it.
Makes 6 - 8 generous bowls of soup. A great addition to any pantry for healthy, super-easy meals.
